| There was a young woman who was a bit of a nerd, a girl whose imagination was always conjuring up slightly sinister, gothic, quirky worlds. She liked to draw, she liked to read, and think outside the box. She read L.J. Smith's books before anyone in her social group had even heard of the term 'paranormal romance'. She loved her numerous pet's and was a little too odd-ball to ever fit in with the world. But hey, she had a kick ass collection of Dr Seuss books & a dog eared much loved book titled: 'Where the Wild Things Are'. | Completely self-taught, as art school's scare me, plagued with an over-active imagination I create odd and slightly gothic worlds with my hands & traditional tools. Since early childhood I have been fascinated with traditional tales, ghostly tales, myths or fairy stories. My illustrations, with their strange young women and men, exist in that subtle, off-kilter almost sinister element to be found in any good folk tale.
